While enrolled in graduate school, engaged in interior design and architectural work at a spatial design office. Involved in the design and planning of numerous commercial facilities in Tokyo, including retail and dining establishments. From 2014, participated in CCC's design department for seven years, working on projects such as Tsutaya Books at Haneda Airport and the design of public libraries nationwide. Currently active in both Tokyo and regional areas.

While studying architecture at Waseda University, he was involved in the early days of the design office nendo, before joining Kajima Corporation and working on design and urban planning both domestically and internationally. He graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design as a Fulbright scholarship recipient. He gained investment experience at a foreign real estate fund, and founded U Share Inc., which invests in, designs, and operates the international student dormitory U Share. He teaches at Waseda University and Keio University, and also serves as the Japanese liaison for the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. First-class Licensed Architect in Japan.

Majored in urban planning and architecture at university. He has been engaged in space design and planning at AIM Creates, and at Transit General Office, he has developed a wide variety of business types, from cafes and restaurants, urban redevelopment, commercial facilities, hotels, spas and saunas, offices and residences. He is involved in comprehensive and specialized space branding that crosses the boundaries between people and nature, cities and architecture, interiors and graphics, hardware and software, and scale and genre.

At Mitsubishi Corporation, he was engaged in construction management of real estate development in Bhakdat and Hong Kong. At Yasuda Trust & Banking (now Mizuho Trust & Banking), he was involved in many sourcing and brokerage operations for real estate nationwide in the Real Estate Investment Division. At Kenedix, he was responsible for fund management strategies for a portfolio of over 1 trillion yen, and served as President and Chairman of the Board. He also has expertise in operational assets such as serviced offices and serviced apartments, including concurrently serving as President and Representative Director of Space Design.

He is the director of the Kobayashi and Maki Design Workshop, the Japanese representative of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, and an advisor on urban planning for the Ginza and Nihonbashi districts of Tokyo. He has worked for domestic and international architectural design firms, universities, and research organizations before assuming his current position. While practicing and consulting internationally on architectural and urban design of various sizes, he also explores how to create spaces that become one's own goal through research on participatory design, construction, and community development. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, he has been involved in disaster recovery projects in Japan and abroad using "veneer houses," simple self-built structures. He is currently planning an architectural project to implement the SDGs at Keio University. He is an architect.

Started as a bellhop at Dai-ichi Hotel and then worked in the new hotel development division, experiencing projects in Japan and overseas. After transferring to the Hotel Division of Mitsubishi Jisho, experienced hotel development and management of the Yokohama Landmark Tower. He also led the development of the Royal Park Shiodome Tower and served as the representative director of its management company, and has since participated in the development of hotels in Fukuoka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and Haneda Airport International Terminal. Established Triple Win. He has been involved in hotel consulting and advisory services.

Mr. Kurauchi is a partner at TMI Associates. He has extensive experience in hotel management agreements and M&A of real estate companies as well as fund formation and non-recourse loans, primarily in the hotel, real estate and financial industries. He has extensive experience in the hotel industry, from the attraction and development of foreign luxury hotels to the formation of private funds with a portfolio of business hotels and the acquisition of foreign hotel chains. He is a part-time lecturer at the University of Tsukuba.
